In 1967 David P.L. Hunter joined McPherson & Brown Real Estate Limited which subsequently changed its name to Churchill & Jones Real Estate Limited. The company is licensed by the Grand Bahama Port Authority as General Real Estate Brokers, and also provides the services of appraisals as well as property management.
The board of directors consisted of David P.L. Hunter (deceased) and his partner Hilary Jones (retired, however is still actively involved), who has over 50 years of combined experience in the Freeport real estate industry.
In 1985, Trevor W. Johnson joined the firm of Churchill & Jones as an inspector working in the property management division and in 1981 he was promoted to sales director. Trevor, a licensed contractor, has acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience of the Freeport and Grand Bahama market. In 2007, the baton was passed on to Trevor and today he is the president of Churchill & Jones Real Estate Limited. In 1984 Trevor earned a certificate in Florida International University's Real Estate Programme (in conjunction with The College of the Bahamas) in Basic Principles and Practices of Real Estate.
